Internships & Employment

Internships

The Office of Senator Tammy Duckworth offers internships to individuals who are 18 years and older. These internships are available in each of its six offices. The offices are located across the state in Chicago, Springfield, Rock Island, Belleville, Carbondale, and in Washington, D.C.

Scholarships are available on a limited basis. These are for applicants who cannot afford to work without pay. They are also for those who cannot afford the living expenses in the city where the internship is located.

More information about the Internship and Scholarship Programs can be found on the website at: https://www.duckworth.senate.gov/help/internships.

The deadline to apply to the Summer 2026 Internship Program is February 27, 2026.

If you have any questions, please contact internships@duckworth.senate.gov.
